Well I finally feel human again! It's rather nice!!! I've had 5 migrains in 5 days...I was about ready to take drastic measures to make them stop!!! Went to the Dr Tuesday morning, and the ER Tuesday night, and got shots both times...it burned BAD when they were giving me the shot (Stadol), but it knocked me out, and I didn't care for too long! The one from the ER was a double dose, plus phenegrin, and I was still loopy last evening some. WOW... I'm just praying that I continue to feel good! I don't have time to be "sick!" I wish I knew what the trigger was for this series, as I've never had them this bad, and would prefer for it to never happen this bad again! One of my co-workers probably hit the nail on the head, she said it could be from the stress finally slacking of some? Since things had been SOO hectic the last few weeks. When I think back to High School when I'd get them from stress...it was usually AFTER finals, not during finals, so that makes sense...Will have to consider that theory more!
We got the new carpet in Monday...it's so pretty! Granted it makes the offwhite carpet in the master bedroom (which used to look nice), look BROWN! So we'll probably get that changed in the relatively near future (maybe by next summer - who knows - depends on moula!). We had to take EVERYTHING out of the living room for them to be able to put the carpet in, and Monday night my sweet wonderful husband put JUST the furniture back in there, so it looks really nice in there! It's starting to feel like home. (which is good, since it is! LOL).
I'm going to have lots of reading to do this weekend, to catch up from this past week that I haven't been able to get anything done. It's hard to read when ya can't see! Oh well, can't change the past, and just means I"ll have loads of fun this weekend (can you feel the sarcasms?). Next weekend my sweet wonderful husband is planning to go try to kill poor defenseless animals...what fun for him?....Then the next weekend we get to help some friends move who were displaced by Katrina (sorta)...then the next weekend we're going to the marriage retreat that the family pastor & his wife from my old church put on...then I think that's all for now...granted if at all possible the next weekend my husband will be attempting to kill defenseless animals again!
Granted by the time all that's over with - it'll be getting close to Thanksgiving it seems...my how the time flies! To make it seem like time's flying faster...after this semester of school - I only have THREE semesters left - WOW!!! Ok....freaked out enough, better get back to work...
Ta ta for now
I'm 37. Married to a wonderful man. Have 2 beautiful children 5 & 1. I stay home and homeschool my oldest, which is by far the best job I've EVER had!

for my fan club....
Since I apparently have fans that life stops for when I don't write, I figure I better get something posted, so they can move on in their lives! LOL! Actually life's been rather hectic around my little world, so I just plain haven't had the time to post. Most days I have things I would like to blog about, but when you don't have internet at home, don't need to use the internet at school, and are extremely busy with work to use the internet at work...it makes it kinda challenging to post!
I finally finished my July recons...they had to be in by today at the latest, and I just turned in the last one (that I can do), so life is good again! :-) I have 2 that I can't do right now, one because of problems with reporting, and one because a file has to be loaded, which should be done by the end of the day hopefully! I still have plenty to do (for now), but I'm giving myself a break, and letting you read my rambles! Don't you feel special!? LOL!
Well - we have all our crap in the new house...I can't wait to go through it all...I'm planning to get rid of everything we don't currently use...no more storing up for "one day"...cause when "one day" gets here...I will want "new stuff" not the stored old stuff (if I could even find it!)... We've decided to leave everything in boxes for now though...kinda...well we're waiting to do most of the unpacking until the new carpet is put in cause we've gotta shuffle stuff for it again. But that's to be taken care of Monday morning! YAY! I'm ready for pee pee carpet in the living room to be gone! Apparently the former owner's dog's favorite "spot" was right in the walkway to the kitchen...YUCK! Come on Monday! I think Monday will be the last day that I have to miss work for something on the house for a while too, which will be nice! :-) Fortunately most of this has all been at times when I'm not too busy (*read* not during close), but I'm running low on vacation time!! Which is kinda sad since I had FOUR weeks of vacation at the beginning of the year! (Granted I went on 2 week-long adventures this summer!).
Ok - I've rambled long enough for now...need to do a few more things...but now maybe my fans will be happy for a little while! ;-)

prayer link
I want y'all to notice the link I have to the right for prayers for Rebekah. It's a link I stumbled on, and have been keep up with everyday for the last week or so. She's a beautiful little girl...She's 3...and has lots of health problems (cancer related). Check out her site, and pray for her and her family.
sooo....buuuusssssssyyyy....
Ok...I'm ready for...lemme think....Wednesday of next week! I think that's when life will finally slow down! I called about getting utilities turned on in our name. What a pain...I've got to GO TO the water company to get it turned on...I have nothing better to do with my lunch than drive to Bryant! I called about gas, and they can't turn it on till Tuesday...I'm thinking we won't need the gas fireplace, heat, or stove top till later anyway, so no big deal...only problem is if the hot water heater is gas. Here's hoping it's not! I'll check tomorrow when Sears delivers our new fridge! How silly am I - I'm excited about our new fridge. Anyway...back to utilities...called the electric company and with what's going on in South Louisiana, they can guarantee it'll be on the 29th that's THREE WEEKS AWAY...we didn't send that many people down there. The lady told me that was excessive, to keep people from complaining if it takes longer than usual, but that if there were no LA problem it'd be on by Friday. She put in a note that we were moving this weekend, and needed it on Friday, so hopefully that'll be on. But never fear...the GARBAGE WILL be picked up on Monday morning! LOL...I found that to be extremely funny! No guarantee on utilities except trash. Actually the water people said they would have it on the next day after I come in, so if I go in today, it'll be on tomorrow.
Packing is coming along nicely...granted I think our stuff is multiplying like bunnies! I didn't think we had that much stuff, but sheesh, when ya try to box it all up, ya realize how much you really do have! I worked on the kitchen last night...and 4 boxes later, and I still have all my pots & pans, and most of my pyrex to box up....sheesh! I also got my bathroom done last night. The games have been packed...and my sweet wonderful husband is almost finished boxing up the books. We have agreed though that if we can get all the furniture moved this weekend (with help), and the stuff we've finished boxing, we'll be happy, we can finish the little things later (we have paid for the apartment till the end of the month!). We rented a 26 ft truck to put all our stuff in since it was the same price as the 22 ft. Should make it where we can do it all in one trip, considering the 22 ft was for 4-6 rooms!
Work has been kinda busy, but that's expected it's been "close"...the first four business days of the month! Today makes day five, and while it's still technically "close," it doesn't affect our group much, and doesn't affect me at all! :-) Granted I'm still catching up from being out a week for Vegas, and here and there for the house stuff.
This past weekend was fun...I almost forgot to talk about that! We went to Louisiana for the day on Saturday...to visit my college pastor and his family, and to visit my favorite red head and her family. First stop was lots of fun...the 2 girls were VERY excited to see us...he was cooking, and she was baking a cake...He fixed fried kabobs...they were very yummy! and the cake was still warm when we got to that part...YUMM! (yellow cake with chocolate icing). Got to do lots of talking and catching up...and lots of talking of politics...and lots of talking of what's going on in south Louisiana...basically...lots of talking! One of the churches in the small community he lives in has taken in some evacuees, and all the churches are chipping in to provide meals, so the one church that's housing them doesn't wear out. His church fixed breakfast for them Saturday, and was frying fish for dinner Saturday. When he left, we headed to our 2nd stop...and I got to love on a precious newborn baby girl (well 2 1/2 week old at that point). She's beautiful! And during her naps I got to visit with her parents, and love on her older brother, who was in a VERY good mood! We ordered Ray's Peegee....YUM! I haven't had that in forever...I don't think my sweet wonderful husband likes it too much, but he has his flaws too! LOL! We'll get to see them again in just a few weeks, since they'll be coming to Little Rock for a doctor's appointment for the 3 yr old boy.
Ok - someone's needing something for me, so I suppose I should actually do what they need, and get back to work...
