So much to do....so little time!

Ok - so I have lots of things at work that I should be doing instead of writing this, but you see which I'm doing! I have lots to do for school...and lots to do for moving in less than 2 weeks, but you see I'm doing none of those, and writing here. Time management what?!? LOL!

I feel so cut off from the world...since my brother moved this weekend, the "friends" e-mail has been down...I feel like a Dilbert cartoon I had...Dilbert was walking up to pointy haired lady with his arms open saying "e-mail is down....hold me..."

Hopefully today we'll get to close on the house...we were supposed to close yesterday, but the mortgage company was dragging their feet, so we should get to close today...but not till "late"...which according to them is 3:30 up to as late as 4:15...eeek...we close in Benton, but my class tonight starts at 5:30 in Little Rock...I'm praying we'll get the 3:30 time, and that everything will go smoothly, so I can make it to class, and on time! We'll see! I'm rather irritated at the mortgage company, but fortunately there's no big "problem" with closing a day later than originally planned - it's more the principle of the matter! I wonder if they realize how much business they have lost for me talking about my problems with them while up here at work... Oh well - their loss!

School is going pretty well...I think I'm gonna like all my classes...I've been to all of them but one twice... Monday is my computer law class, the Professor is the Dean's son, and he's rather socially awkward, but the subject matter seems like it's going to be interesting...and there's no test in that class...just a paper to write... Tuesday and Thursday are Federal Income Tax Law, and Business Associations Law (different types of businesses), and those I think I'm really going to like...partly because it fits so well with my undergrad stuff, that it's familiar, and we're just adding the "law" side of it. Friday night is the class I've only been to once...it's Lawyering Skills...just the name makes it seem like it's an important class...but we've only been to the "intro" class, so I'm not 100% sure how much "work" is going to be involved, but rumor mill says quite a bit...

Ok - well the boss lady is wanting something from me, so I better get after it...*sigh* can't she see I'm busy here? LOL!
Ta-ta for now...

ok...back to the grind...

*sigh*...I didn't want to get up and come to work this morning! I've gone just over a week without an alarm clock, and to have to get up to one today...well...it stunk! And I have to go to class tonight as well... I was up late last night reading my assignment for tonight...that professor didn't post the assignment on the web (something I find funny since it's Computer Law!) I finished the reading, but it was painfully boring for the most part...it was "this is e-mail"..."this is the internet"..."this is how the internet got started"....blah! I knew most of it, but just as soon as I would have skipped a part, there'd have been something I didn't know! Oh well...it's done! Class tonight starts at 7...which is good, cause that means I'll have time to read some for tomorrow's class...I've got 2 classes on Tuesday and Thursday, so I've got quite a bit more reading to do than last night. I brought the longer reading assignment to read tonight, which is also the first class tomorrow night...it's Federal Income Tax...woo hoo! Then I have to read about 25 pages of Business Associations (I think this one is just intro stuff too).

Ok - enough about school...I was complaining last night about not wanting to go back to school today...and he was being supportive saying "you're almost done"...I smarted off that I've got as much left to do as I've already done! It was funny cause it took him off guard. Don't get me wrong...I love school, and I want to finish, and I like "most" of the subject matter...I'm just not ready for summer to be over...I enjoy getting to come home right after work to my sweet wonderful husband, and us getting to do whatever we want! :-) Ok - and I'm doing well at getting off the school subject aren't I! LOL!

Ok - for real now...off school...I had fun in Vegas last week...I'm glad to be home though...I did miss my sweet wonderful husband! (& I think even daddy can attest to the fact that he missed me too! LOL!) I did TONS of walking...my tootsies were tiiiiired! But it was neat to see it all. It was kinda depressing to see how much things really cost to the person who sells it retail to us...if only I needed 192 of the exact same watch, bracelet, purse, chair, etc! LOL! While we were doing the tourist-ey stuff we found another trade show, so that was cool...if I wouldn't have gone, then daddy probably wouldn't have found out about it cause it was in one of the hotels, that he wouldn't have gone back to if he were alone. Heck...after we saw the sign, we were both sitting down, and he was going to just look it up online later. I pushed for us to go see...it wasn't that much further to walk...so we did, and found the supplier for one of the items we(daddy) bought to try (a new product). I think that was the thing that made me feel like I contributed to the trip!

It was also fun to visit with daddy...we had lots of time to scheme against mom! LOL - just kidding - (wanting to see how closely ya read mom!). In a weeks time with you and just one other person there's lots of time to talk...(when my husband wasn't calling cause he missed me). :-) I netted about $40 winnings...roughly. I played the penny slots with $1 and won $5....another day played the nickel slots with $1 and won $11...another day played the nickel slots with $1 and won roughly $7ish...but that one spit out coins not a ticket to cash, so daddy & I played off of that for about an hour or so (till it was gone)...then My sweet wonderful husband insisted I play the dollar slots...so I stuck $5 in that, and won $60...Wednesday night we went to play bingo, and I paid for the first round (roughly $20), and daddy won $38...enough for dinner, and the 2nd round of bingo...it was fun...but we didn't win our millions! Granted we did get to keep (cause we paid for them) our dab-o-ink bingo daubers!! LOL!

Ok - been out for a week - I better get back to work - have tons to do, and a little over a week to get it all done in!
Ta-ta for now!

VEGAS BABY!!!!

Ok, so I'm gonna be gone for a whole week...and I don't know when/if I'll have time to get online while I'm in Vegas, so I figured I'd better give my fans something to read while I'm gone! LOL! I have such a mixed feeling about going...I'm SO excited to get to go to Vegas, and the price is unbeatable! ;-) But I'm having to leave my sweet wonderful husband here...This is the first time I've gone on a trip and left my husband behind. Oh and while I'm gone my favorite red head is having her precious little baby girl. YAY! (That's Wednesday!). I'm not going to get to meet her till she's about 2 or 3 weeks old. I hate that I'm going to have to wait that long, but I've got so much on my plate, and the mama said she understood! I think we'll go meet the baby the weekend after close, assuming we have most/all of our packing done. Speaking of packing...it's 10 PM the night before I'm leaving for Vegas, and I haven't packed the first thing...no I'm not a procrastinator...LOL! I've got till 11ish tomorrow to finish (factoring being at the airport 2 hours before flight time and travel to the airport). My flight leaves at 2:15, and I'll be in Vegas at like 6 their time...daddy will be there around 7ish, and we'll go to the hotel. I leave Vegas at 7AM Friday morning, and will be back in Little Rock at 1:15. I am looking forward to getting to see Vegas for the first time...I know...I'm rambling, but it's "my little spot" so I can do that! hehe...

Ok...well I'm tired of talking to y'all...I'm gonna go spend some more time with my sweet wonderful husband, and then pack, and try to get some sleep....granted it's like Christmas Eve, so I don't know how much sleep I'm gonna get.

Talk to ya later...miss me!
(p.s. sorry for any misspellings, Firefox won't let the spell check window pop up, and I'm not in the mood to make it behave...)

blah...

Ok...I don't wanna be at work...I don't have anywhere else I'd rather be...just don't wanna be here! There are 4 people in my department here today. Several of my group are in classes today, and several are just on vacation. It makes me not want to be here though! Oh well - I'll deal! I've had a headache all day today...that's getting old...I keep taking medicine for it, and it does dull the pain, but it won't go away! argh!

We've had a VERRRRY busy summer, but it's been a very FUN summer. Well I think so anyway. My sweet wonderful husband is ready for life to slow back down. I remind him that in about 2 weeks its going to come to a screeching halt! This coming week will be slow for him, as I'll be in Las Vegas! YAY! I'm really excited about going...granted at the same time, I hate that the last week off from school I won't get to spend with my sweet wonderful husband! Oh well - the price we pay to play! ;-)

I went today to order new glasses...with going to Vegas, I don't wanna have contact problems and have no alternative. The place said I should have them in by Friday...I hope so!!! I had glasses that I was just wearing as I needed them with the old prescription, but they finally bit the dust this weekend. I just got a cheap pair of no-name brand glasses, since I wear my contacts most of the time! After work I'm planning to go by Alltel and get my plan changed if it's possible. Supposedly now we can change plans as many times as we want without having to extend the contract. I figure with me being out in Vegas and my sweet wonderful husband being here in Arkansas, that we'll need more than the 100 roaming minutes we have already! I think the catch on that is going to be it's for a complete billing cycle, so I need to find out when my billing cycle is, so I can know if it's possible to do it! Hopefully it will, cause if not roaming charges are expensive!!!

I went yesterday to get my books for school...one more depressing step towards school starting again...I was only able to get books for 2 of my classes...I got 5 books for 2 classes, and spent over $300. Good grief! I'll go Thursday to see if I can get the rest of them! I really want my book for my Monday class before I leave for Vegas, so I can be sure to read before the first night of class...it'd be bad for the first night not to be prepared - BAD way to start the semester! The other one I'm missing is for my Friday class, so I have more flexibility in getting that one, but I'm hoping to get the rest of them in one trip!

I soo can't wait to get to move into our new house!!!! eek! Granted that means school has to start first...I have a week of classes, then closing, then a little over a week till we move. I'm excited! Granted in that week we'll have to get a fridge cause we won't have one in the new house! Oh well!

Ok well...I think I've procrastinated enough for now...I'll ttyl!
